Sailing trip begins
It's ideal if you arrive at the marina on Friday or Saturday afternoon. On Saturday, you should be at the boat in the marina between 2 and 4 pm. Saturday is our setup day. You can arrive at your leisure, get settled in, and we'll give you a safety briefing. Afterward, about four people will go grocery shopping for the week. You can add to our shopping list according to your preferences. It's quite an experience browsing the supermarkets and blocking the checkout lines with six or more shopping carts! Check-in on the yacht is after 5 pm.
Provisions during the sailing trip
Everything is stowed away on the yacht. Now you'll all go out for dinner together. We've reserved tables for the entire crew at a local restaurant. The skipper will give you a thorough briefing on the yacht, including the galley (sideboards), lines, and sails, before you set sail. The following days will be relaxed. The schedule: leisurely breakfast on board, setting sail, heading for the day's destination, and a midday snack with a swim stop. That's all. You'll arrive at your destination in the afternoon. As you can see, there's plenty of time to swim, read, take a nap, or explore a town before cooking dinner or going to a restaurant.
